After graduating medical school in Dr. Broker-Sen trained in Adult Psychiatry at Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital in Connecticut and in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at ICAHN School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, where she also served as a chief resident. Following training, she has developed extensive experience in providing psychiatric assessments and treatment to children, teens and young adults while working in both community based and hospital based settings. Previously she worked at Bradley Hospital in RI where she provided treatment for children and families in the outpatient department, partial hospital program and residential program. She advocated for an integrated primary care program in RI, which was awarded a federal grant along with two philanthropy grants. She helped develop the program and was the clinical director, playing a key role in promoting integration of children behavioral mental health in pediatric primary care settings.

Dr. Broker-Sen specializes in anxiety disorders, mood disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders and provides psychiatric evaluation and medication management for children and adults. She takes a holistic approach to each patient and only prescribes medications when it is medically indicated.

Dr. Broker-Sen is Board Certified in Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, an American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry member and an Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. These affiliations help her stay abreast with recent developments in the field of psychiatry.
